Solid Roots Program
Solid Roots is a paid work program offered by Enlightened Farms to individuals in early recovery.
Addiction can take a lot from an individual. Our intention is to help folks reclaim their lives with meaningful employment in a nurturing environment. It is here that members will have the opportunity to gain insight into sustainable organic farming while contributing to the daily operations that allow us to provide the freshest and most nutritious food to our community.
With the guidance of our supportive staff, our goal is to instill in each participant a sense of belonging and confidence by offering an environment to build jobs skills and provide stability. Here at the farm, individuals in this program are exposed to structure and routine while tasked with various projects and counted on as an essential part of the team. Our aim here is to give newly recovering people responsibility and purpose. Farm work is demanding but the rewards are numerous. We believe that as you grow to become dependable and accountable, so does your self-esteem.
